West Lancs 65 finishes with a lecture on 4/3/26
 
West Lancs Mark Lodge No 65 meets at Liverpool Masonic Hall and opened the 25/26 season with an Advancement ceremony on the first Wednesday in September 2025.

This was followed by the Installation meeting on bonfire night and they closed their season with the Mark Lecture on Wednesday 4th March. The meeting was opened by the Worshipful Master, WBro Alan Ray and then the Members stood for the In Memoriam for Most Worshipful Bro John Herbert Prizeman, Pro Grand Master, who passed to higher service on 22nd January 2026.

With domestic business complete, WBro Ray then asked WBro Derek Gaskell to present the Mark Lecture. This is the lecture you are told you get when join the Mark Degree. (Lecture five in the ritual book.)   Derek gave the lecture in his usual dramatic style. At the end of lecture, the members gave WBro Gaskell an enthusiastic round of applause.

During the risings WBro Alan Ray congratulated WBro Brian O’Hare on his first Provincial appointment, to Prov. G.S.D. Brain will receive his provincial rank at the Provincial Grand Mark Meeting at Blackpool on 15th April. The Lodge was closed in due form and West Lancs Mark Lodge No 65 season was finished.
